Best to make it clear,
a 24 inch x 18 x 18 cage might be fine for 4 Bucks or 6 Does but only while very young. Move those size groups soon on into 36 x 18 x 18 cages
Note the 'sprawling' tray ! most rats make
for the high ground when seeking to rest.
They will enjoy lying like logs, watching
you 'human' dashing about all day !!.
Next: make sure the food goes into a
suitable bin. These bins

Accept a Full 15Kg bag of either Alpha Supreme
or
Rupert Rat
No need to provide any Ladder or Stairway
The climbing will keep them fit !!.
The more space you can allow for each animal will
reward you by the cage remaining fresher and
